Lecture on "Maps, Satellites and Secrets: The Geospatial World Unveiled"

The Centre for National Security Studies (CNSS), in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, organized a lecture on "Maps, Satellites and Secrets: The Geospatial World Unveiled" at the RTC, MSRUAS, Peenya Campus, on 18-12-2024.

The session was led by Dr. Nithiyanandam, PhD, a distinguished expert in Geospatial Intelligence. His enlightening lecture shed light on the transformative potential and hidden opportunities in the geospatial domain across industry, academia, and beyond. He emphasized career pathways for students in Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, highlighting areas such as Precision Navigation and Autonomous Systems, Smart Road Networks, and Energy-Efficient Transportation Systems.

This collaborative effort reflects the commitment of CNSS and the Department of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering to equip students and faculty with insights into emerging technologies, real-world industry challenges, and cutting-edge research opportunities.
