Lamp Lighting & Graduation Day – 2026

Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research (RINER) proudly organized its Lamp Lighting & Graduation Day Ceremony on 12 March 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Auditorium, Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of nursing students as 31 GNM students (33rd Batch) and 100 B.Sc. Nursing students (35th Batch) participated in the solemn Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony, symbolizing their commitment to the noble profession of nursing. The institution also celebrated the graduation of 83 B.Sc. Nursing students (31st Batch).

The event was graced by Mrs. Gracy Mathai, Group Chief: Quality and Governance Baby Memorial Hospital, Calicut, Keralam as the Chief Guest, who delivered the Graduation Day Address and inspired the graduating students with her words of wisdom and encouragement.

The function was presided over by Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Raina, Vice-Chancellor of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. Other distinguished dignitaries present included Dr. G. S. Venkatesh, and Prof. R. V. Ranganath.

The programme featured the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, oath-taking, annual report presentation by the Dean and Principal, RINER, conferring of degrees, distribution of special awards and presidential address. The celebration concluded with a fellowship dinner at the RINER Auditorium.
