La Scena…Inter-University Drama Competition

Anubhooti – The Dramatics Club of M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences proudly organized its flagship event, La Scena 25', held on 8th May 2025 at Dwaraka Auditorium, Gnanagangothri Campus. It was a grand celebration of theatrical excellence and creative expression. The event was designed to showcase the artistic talents of participants while promoting the rich cultural art of theatre. With a focus on encouraging students to embrace the stage and express their creativity, La Scena 25' successfully brought together emerging talents from various institutions.

The event featured a series of well-structured competitions, including Mono-acting, Street Play, Recreate, Out of the Box, Modernist Storyteller, and Frames. Each event provided a unique platform for participants to demonstrate their theatrical skills and innovative storytelling techniques. Through these competitions, Anubhooti aimed to inspire students to engage with dramatic arts, enhancing their confidence and stage presence while celebrating the spirit of performance and artistic express.

About 18 colleges from across Bangalore and beyond participated actively in La Scena 25', contributing significantly to the event's success. The event also saw representation from prestigious institutions such as Goa University, reflecting its widespread reach and appeal. Both team-based and individual participations were witnessed across all the competitions, with Mono-acting emerging as the most popular event, attracting the highest number of registrations.
