International Nurses Day 2026

The Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research proudly celebrated International Nurses Day on 19th May 2026 with great enthusiasm and professional spirit. The celebration reflected this year’s inspiring theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”

The programme featured a heartfelt video presentation showcasing patient feedback on nursing care services, highlighting the compassion, dedication, and impact of nurses in healthcare. An inspiring experience-sharing session by nursing professionals further motivated students and faculty members.

As part of the celebration, RINER also organized a Reel Making Competition based on the International Nurses Day theme, with enthusiastic participation from eight nursing colleges. Winners were recognized and awarded during the programme.

The event witnessed the active participation of around 300 nursing students and faculty members, making the celebration meaningful, memorable, and a true tribute to the nursing profession.
