Industry Visit to “Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd (UNIT -31) Peenya, Bengaluru”

The Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Art and Design, RUAS, organised an industrial visit to Shahi Exports Unit 31, Peenya Industrial Area, on 2 September 2026. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year B.Des Fashion Design students participated in the visit, accompanied by 2 teaching staff, Ms Mamatha G. Hegde and Ms Smitha R.

In this visit students were exposed to various advanced apparel manufacturing processes. Students practically experienced the process of the fabric storage section, fabric cutting, pattern making, cutting and sewing section. The technical master explained that Shahi Exports is currently working for Adidas, A&F, PVH, LEVI'S, and Tommy Hilfiger brands.
