Industry Collaboration and Recruitment Initiative: Hospitality Exploration at BLR Airport

On February 10th, 2025, representatives from the Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT), MSRUAS, Dr. Ankita Sharma and Mr. Raghavendra, were invited by Ms. Aarti Naik, Manager – Learning and Development, to Bangalore International Airport (BLR) to explore the hospitality services at Terminal 2 lounges. The visit provided valuable insights into the range of lounge offerings for both domestic and international travelers. Discussions on potential academic–industry collaboration were held, and Mr. Joseph, HR Head at BIAL, was invited to the FHMCT campus for a recruitment drive on March 4th, 2025.
