Award of Investigator Initiated Intermediate Extramural Grant (ICMR)
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) has been granted a significant research fund by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for the project titled “The Impact of Positive Aging Intervention on Flourishing of Elderly in India: A Pan-India Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial”. The ICMR has sanctioned an impressive amount of 2.8 crores for the project, and RUAS successfully received the first-year grant.
This achievement is a result of the collaborative efforts of the project team composed of Dr. Sudharsana V Iyengar (Co-PI) (Dept. of Data Sciences and Analytics), and Dr. Aradhana S Talwar (Co-PI) (Dept. of Public Policy).
Project team extends special thanks to Sri. Gurucharan Gollerkeri, Prof. Govind R Kadambi for their invaluable guidance throughout this journey, Dr. Kavitha Prasad for assistance in obtaining ethical clearance, and CA. Uday Kumar Shetty for support in finance-related matters of the project.
