5-Day Skill Enhancement Training Program on “Modern Robotics Systems using ROS 2, Arduino & Computer Vision”
The Department of Automotive and Robotics (DARE), M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), in association with the Training & Placement Department, successfully organized a 5-Day Skill Enhancement Training Programme on "Modern Robotics Systems using ROS 2, Arduino & Computer Vision" for undergraduate students, held from 6th to 10th July 2026 at Ramaiah Technology Campus, Peenya, Bengaluru.
The objective of the programme was to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical skills in modern robotics, embedded systems, and intelligent automation through intensive hands-on sessions. The training covered the following key topics:
- Robot Operating System 2 (ROS 2)
- Arduino Programming and Embedded Systems
- Computer Vision using OpenCV
- Sensor Integration and Robot Communication
- Mobile Robot Development and Autonomous Navigation
The sessions were conducted by expert industry trainers from Just Robotics, providing students with valuable practical exposure to contemporary robotic technologies and real-world industrial applications. Participants actively engaged in laboratory exercises, programming activities, and project-based learning throughout the five-day programme.
The training served as an excellent platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements while enhancing students' technical competency and employability in robotics and automation.
MSRUAS extends its sincere gratitude to the University leadership, the Training & Placement Department, faculty members, Just Robotics, and all the enthusiastic student participants for their support and contribution in making the programme a grand success.
