Workshop on ”Central Venous Catheter Management Skills for Nursing Professionals”

Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research (RINER) organising a workshop on ”Central Venous Catheter Management Skills for Nursing Professionals” on 29th November 2024.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will achieve the following outcomes :

• Demonstrate skills in assisting for insertion of central venous access devices (CVADs).
• Recognize and interpret critical clinical indicators associated with central venous devices
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly perform central venous pressure (CVP) measurement and accurately interpret CVP readings.
• Understand the protocols for obtaining blood samples and administering medications through central lines.
