International Symposium on “Building a Quantum Ready Workforce for Viksit Bharat @ 2047”

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)-FET, RUAS, in association with Faculty of Management and Commerce, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and collaborating institutions, is organizing an International symposium on “Building a Quantum Ready Workforce for Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Challenges and Opportunities.”

The symposium aims to bring together distinguished experts from academia, industry, research organizations, and the National Quantum Mission ecosystem to discuss emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in developing a quantum-ready workforce aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

The event will feature keynote addresses, distinguished lectures, plenary sessions, and panel discussions focused on quantum technologies, workforce development, academia–industry collaboration, and future research directions.

We are privileged to host our former Vice Chancellor, Dr. S. S. Sritharan, Co-Founder & Founding Chief Scientist, QuantSafe Inc., USA, along with several eminent speakers and high-profile delegates from academia, industry, startups, and research organizations.

Objectives

• To identify the skills, competencies, and educational frameworks required to build a quantum-ready workforce for India.
• To foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government in advancing quantum technologies and innovation.
• Envisaged Outcomes
  Development of a White Paper for the Government and stakeholders on Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
• Support and strengthen National Quantum Mission initiatives and activities.
