Housekeeping Week 2026

The Department of Housekeeping, Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT), Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), is organizing International Housekeeping Week 2026 from 5th to 9th October 2026. The week aims to enhance students’ creativity, innovation, professional knowledge, and practical understanding of contemporary housekeeping operations through a combination of workshops, expert interactions, and competitions. The programme features a Robotics Workshop by Kinetiq Robotics, an Expert Talk on “Blueprints to Guest Arrival” by Mr. Ayush Saraf, L&D Manager, JW Marriott, Bangalore, and three engaging competitions—Corporate Rangoli with the theme Hospitality, The Room That Lied with the theme Detective, and Innovation Pitch with the theme Innovation. These activities provide students with opportunities to demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, and industry-oriented skills while exploring emerging trends in housekeeping and hospitality operations.
