The Centre for National Security Studies (CNSS) at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bengaluru, is privileged to invite you to a distinguished lecture on 'Sustainability Transitions: National Strategies and Technological Trajectories.' The lecture will feature two eminent speakers offering academic and policy insights into the evolving landscape of sustainability transitions and green technology pathways. Professor Akihisa Mori, an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, is an internationally recognized expert in socio-technical transitions. His lecture will focus on Asia’s energy and climate policy developments, with a particular emphasis on the role of green hydrogen in national strategies for sustainability.
Dr. Nandakumar Janardhanan, our second speaker, is the Deputy Director (Climate and Energy) and South Asia Regional Coordinator at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), Japan. With more than two decades of experience in climate security and energy innovation across India and Japan, Dr. Janardhanan will address the strategic relevance of critical minerals, hydrogen pathways, and regional cooperation in shaping resilient energy futures.
