Highlights of the FDP:

The program aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the national and international regulatory frameworks for medical devices, and safety practices with a special focus on materiovigilance.

Objectives of FDP:

• To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the concept of materiovigilance and its role in monitoring the safety and performance of medical devices throughout their lifecycle
• To ensure that faculty are well-versed in the procedures for reporting adverse events, incidents, and device failures, and the ethical and legal considerations in handling such reports
• To encourage faculty to develop and engage in evidence-based research on materiovigilance and its impact on medical device safety
