6 Days Hands on Training on “Advanced Statistical Analysis in Research Methodology”

The Department of Allied Health Sciences and the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences (FLAHS), RUAS, are jointly organizing a 6-day training programme on “Advanced Statistical Analysis in Research Methodology” from 20 July 2026 to 25 July 2026.

The programme is designed for postgraduate students and faculty members in the fields of Medical and Allied Health Sciences who are interested in omics-based approaches, particularly Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques, to advance their research objectives.

While there is growing interest in the application of omics technologies in research, many researchers lack a clear understanding of the underlying methodologies and the analytical approaches required to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.

This training programme will serve as a primer for participants, providing hands-on exposure to fundamental bioinformatics workflows, data analysis techniques, and the interpretation of omics-based data. The sessions aim to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to effectively utilize bioinformatics tools and integrate omics technologies into their research.
