Dr David E Henry has over 12 years of experience in the field of nutraceutical research. He completed his doctoral research at CFTRI (Mysuru), with a focus on the discovery of novel indigenous probiotics and development of nutraceutical products. Dr David has extensive expertise in the field of fermentation technology, for the scaled-up production of probiotics up to pilot scale level. He also has rich experience in the validation of probiotic efficacy using in vitro (cell line model) and in vivo models. Throughout his career, Dr David has been actively involved in research and teaching for UG & PG level students across science, engineering and medical disciplines, in both government and private institutions. Currently, Dr David Henry is serving as the Coordinator for Sponsored Research at the Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences, RUAS.
