Business administration professionals are in high demand. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment in management occupations is expected to grow 8% from 2021 to 2031. This is faster than the average for all occupations. It has also been predicted that 883,900 new positions will open up during the forecasted period. With the world now engaged in global business, the demand for professionals who possess the right business management and administration skills is also increasing.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course is a comprehensive undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a solid foundation in business and management principles. The course aims to equip students with a well-rounded understanding of business operations, strategy, and decision-making. Through a mix of theoretical knowledge, practical applications, case studies, and internships, students develop essential skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Bachelor of Business Administration subjects cover areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and organisational behaviour. The course prepares graduates for entry-level positions in various industries or serves as a stepping stone for pursuing advanced studies in business, such as an MBA. With a focus on developing business acumen and leadership skills, the BBA programme sets the stage for a successful career in the dynamic and competitive world of business.

Under the Proctoral System, every student is assigned a faculty member as a Proctor or a mentor. These mentors offer guidance, support and encouragement to students, helping them as they progress along their academic journey. From the choice of electives to their academic performance, from attendance to meeting their credit requirements, students can approach these mentors with any and every query. Proctors also interact with parents/guardians and keep them updated on the progress of students. To ensure that they reap the benefits of the Proctoral System, students are advised to be in regular contact with their Proctors.
Students can register a semester at a Partner University during their final year, where they can take some courses or an internship or a project.
At the Innovation Centre, students team up with faculty members to bring their innovative ideas to life. Ideas are assessed based on their relevance to — and impact on — society. These are then translated into working projects that are entered in national and international competitions, and for registration as patents.
Students can opt for an internship in an industry, a business or research organisation during this module. Alternately, students can undertake a mini project that requires self-directed study to be pursued with an affiliated faculty member. It is also necessary for the student to submit a report and make a presentation to the members of the panel constituted by the HoD for assessment.
Students can choose from a multitude of open electives across faculties for credits. These are specially designed as a basic introduction which help in the holistic development.
