MoU with College of Engineering, Texas A&M University, USA
RUAS entered into a MoU with the College of Engineering, Texas A&M University (TAMU), Texas, USA. TAMU was established in 1876 and is believed to be among the first public institutions of higher learning in Texas. Today, it is known as a research-intensive university that offers 175 Master’s programs and 92 Doctoral programs, giving students at RUAS a plethora of opportunities to pursue their higher education and research journeys with some of the world’s more renowned professors.
Further, TAMU students get a world-class education at a reasonable cost, as close to 72% of students receive some kind of financial aid through scholarships, grants, loans, waivers, and campus-based employment. As per the MoU, both universities have agreed to explore the collaboration possibilities with regard to:
- Exchange of faculty for joint teaching and research programs
- Encouraging the enrollment of qualified students in academic programs
- Strengthening partnership and achieving academic excellence
