On the account of International Women’s Day – State NSS Cell, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Government of Karnataka, Women’s Cell RUAS, NSS and Rotaract Club of RUAS is jointly organizing STATE LEVEL TRAINING WORKSHOP - CYBER SAFE GIRL — Safeguards Against Cyber Crime. It will be a comprehensive 2 hours workshop curated specially for female faculty and students across all discipline creating awareness on how to safeguard once self from online crime/​fraud.

Cyber Safe Girl is a unique program inspired by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s ​“Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”. The mission of this project is- ​“Beti Bachao Cyber Crime Se”, designed to inculcate the best practices of responsible browsing and stay safe and secure from the cyber threats, especially among the students, elderly and working professionals. Internet is a double-edged sword- therefore, it is important to know the perils of internet browsing and the cyber laws associated.
