Mr. S. Ashok Rao joined RUAS as Registrar from July, 2025

Mr. S.Ashok Rao holds a Postgraduate degree in Management from Nagpur University. He has Bachelor's degree in Science and Law and a Diploma in Business Management. His field of specialization is Administration.

Prior to joining RUAS he served in:

• Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in various capacities for 17 years
• National Centre for Biological Sciences- Tata Institute for Fundamental Research as Senior Administrative Officer for 17 years.
• Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore as Registrar for three years.

Mr. S. Ashok Rao is also an expert Faculty member for imparting Training on all Administrative Rules and Procedures of Government of India in various Institutions.
