Mr. A. Raghuveer Joined Karnataka State Police in the year 1976 as Sub inspector of Police in Communication wing and retired as Superintendent of Police in the year 2016.
He was deputed to nab Veerappan who was involved in killing elephants for taking elephant tusks.
He worked as police inspector intelligence V.I.P wing as administration inspector worked as personnel security officer to Hon’ble President of India, Prime Mister of India, Foreign delegates and Chie Minister of Karnataka. First time in India he introduced Centex grouping of land lines and mobiles to department in liaison with BSNL.
He was awarded President’s Meritorious medal and Chief Minster gold medal. He worked as an assistant commissioner of Police, Bengaluru city in maintaining law and order, crime detection and VIP Movements etc. assisting DGP and IGP of Karnataka in recruiting of constables.
He worked as deputy superintendent of police in different fields training zonal Dy SP Headquarters etc.
