Mr. Saikat Chakraborty

Saikat Chakraborty is a distinguished Senior IT Leader and Architect with over two decades of expertise in hybrid cloud, DevOps, and enterprise IT infrastructure. With 25 years of progressive leadership across global organizations, he has successfully directed large-scale technology transformations, optimized IT strategies, and delivered secure, cost-effective IT solutions aligned with business objectives.

Prior to joining RUAS, as the General Manager – IT Infrastructure at ACT Fibernet, Saikat was responsible for enterprise-wide IT operations spanning cloud, datacentre, database, corporate IT, and information security. His leadership has been pivotal in introducing hybrid cloud capabilities, strengthening information security frameworks, and standardizing IT processes to drive operational excellence.

Previously, at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India, he spearheaded the establishment of hybrid cloud services for Daimler AG’s global IT landscape. His tenure at IBM India further honed his expertise in service integration, delivery excellence, and governance, where he managed cross-functional teams of up to 1,500 personnel and implemented Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Saikat holds an MBA in Information Systems and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, complemented by professional certifications in various IT & Cloud Technologies like  AWS Solutions Architecture, Kubernetes Administration, Microsoft Azure, ITIL V3, and Six Sigma.

Known for his strategic vision, technical depth, and people leadership, he has consistently partnered with CXOs to align technology roadmaps with business growth, foster innovation, and build resilient IT ecosystems.
