Dr. Sonali Jadhav Tarachand
Principal – Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research
Dr. Jadhav Sonali Tarachand, with over two decades of academic credits has been working as the Dean & Principal of M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research since 2012. She has earned Ph.D. in Nursing under National Consortium, Indian Nursing Council. She holds a PG Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics, National Law School of India University Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, and Global Nursing Policy Leadership programme from Global Nursing Leadership Institute, The International Council of Nurses, Geneva, Switzerland and Certificate program on Health workforce education for the public good program-TUFH Academy, The Network towards Unity for Health.
She has published several articles in National and International indexed journals. She also contributes as peer reviewer for reputed International Journals (Education for Health published by Wolter Kluwers and International Nursing Review published by International Council of Nurses, Geneva). She is the editorial board member of International Journal of Medical Science and Diagnosis Research (IJMSDR) and Journal of Advanced Clinical and Research Insights (JCRI). She also serves as the Vice President, Key Alliance of Smart Nursing, Korean Academy an online global community for advancing use of technology for the betterment of nursing education and nursing service.
At M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research, she has played a key role in accelerating student and faculty research and has given direction for academic planning and implementation that has resulted in enhanced student learning outcomes. She believes in collaboration of education and service and has contributed to collaborative projects within the campus and outside the campus .She is always supportive of community outreach activities. She is passionate about supporting public health nursing .
