Dr. Bharath Srinivasan

Professor and Dean – Faculty of Pharmacy

Joining in 1997, Dr. Bharath Srinivasan is now a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, under the Faculty of Pharmacy, RUAS. He is also an Associate Dean – PG. Previously, he worked at Wintac Formulations and Bangalore Pharmaceutical and Research Laboratories. His research is mainly focused on the topics of controlled and targeted drug delivery and smart polymers.

He obtained degrees in BPharm (1988 — 1992) and MPharm (1994 – 1996) as well as his Ph.D. in Pharmacy (2000 – 2006) from Al Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. Constantly sharpening his scholastic acumen, he has many additional degrees and certifications to his credit. He has completed an MBA degree in Human Resources from the University of Madras, Chennai (2010 – 2012), a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (2007), an Advanced Certificate Programme (2011), and a Professional Certificate program in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research (2013) from Catalyst Clinical Services, New Delhi.
