Mr. Basavaraj Isarannavar is a talent and workforce transformation leader with over 20 years of experience across global technology organizations, including LTIMindtree, Mindtree and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). His career spans talent management, global resource management, workforce strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development and technology engineering, with experience supporting large and geographically distributed organizations.

Prior to his current role as Director - Training & Placement, Mr. Isarannavar served as Principal Director - Workforce Management at LTIMindtree. In this role, he led workforce change management during the LTIM-Mindtree post-merger integration, implemented enterprise workforce management frameworks for capacity planning and deployment, and drove workforce analytics covering headcount forecasting, rate realization and revenue insights. He also partnered with leadership on workforce strategy, culture transformation and AI-enabled approaches to workforce planning and talent acquisition.

Earlier, as Program Director - Talent Management at Mindtree, he led talent management strategy for a business He supported a  workforce expansion and directed talent strategy across Consulting, DevOps and Architecture business units. His responsibilities also included talent analytics, succession planning and workforce compliance for UK operations.

During his tenure at Tata Consultancy Services, Mr. Isarannavar held leadership roles in global resource management and engineering services. He led workforce planning and large-scale resource deployment supporting major global client portfolios, contributed to annual operating plan capacity and expense planning, and drove operational initiatives to improve workforce utilization. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Product Engineer across China, the United Kingdom and the United States.

His areas of expertise include workforce strategy and planning, talent management and leadership development, organizational transformation, workforce analytics and AI in talent, global resource management, change management, cultural transformation and operating model design. He has led workforce initiatives supporting organizations of more than 20,000 employees and business portfolios exceeding $1 billion in revenue.

Mr. Isarannavar holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, an M.Tech from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a B.E. from Karnataka University. He is also pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Visvesvaraya Technological University. His professional credentials include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt, Certified Scrum Professional, Coaching Certification and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.

He brings together industry experience, data-driven talent strategy and leadership development with a strong focus on building future-ready talent ecosystems and strengthening the connection between education, employability and industry needs.
