Dr. Anitha Ramalingam

Controller of Examinations

Dr Anitha Ramalingam Joined RUAS from July 2026.

She obtained B.Pharm and M.Pharm from the Bangalore University. She completed PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTU, Hyderabad. She has over 27 years of combined experience in teaching and academic administration, comprising 15 years in academia and 13 years in senior administrative role. 

Previously she served as the Controller of Examinations at both Dayananda Sagar University. She was responsible for formulating and implementing comprehensive examination regulations across diverse programs in Science, Technology, Management, Law, and Health Sciences. She introduced and institutionalized innovations such as digital double-blind evaluation systems, automation of examination processes, and enhanced transparency in the declaration of results. Additionally, she diversified the components of continuous internal assessment to better evaluate student performance.

Earlier in her career, she served as Assistant Registrar at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for five years, where she was a core member of the pilot initiative for Digital Evaluation across affiliated colleges in Karnataka. This experience instilled administrative capabilities and deepened her expertise in managing examination systems on a large scale.
