Dr. B K Swathi Prasad is a highly accomplished and dedicated professional with a strong background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, particularly in the field of Control Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Multi-Agent Control, earned from M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in 2023. Her academic journey includes a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics from VTU and an M.Tech in Control Systems from Manipal Institute of Technology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Swathi Prasad has received numerous accolades, such as the Annual exemplary faculty award for service in Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in 2018 and being recognized as a faculty achiever on RUAS Innovation Day in 2023. Her dedication to research and academia is evident in her impressive list of international and national conference papers, journal publications, and her Ph.D. dissertation on self-adaptive control strategies for robotic applications.

With extensive experience in academia, she has served as an Assistant Professor at M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies and M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, where she also held the position of Associate Head at the Innovation Centre. Dr. Swathi Prasad’s areas of expertise include Control Systems, Machine Learning, and Finite Element Analysis of Electric Machines.
