Having joined the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2017, Mr. Damodar Nayak A is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, RUAS. He conducts both theory and practical classes for B. Pharm students and teaches them the theoretical aspects of Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Environmental Science, Computer Applications in Pharmacy, and Pharmacology. For Pharm.D students, he teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology. He is part of the research team for the Pharmacological Modeling and Simulation Center. 

A dynamic and versatile member of the facility, he is engaged in several diverse activities. He is NSS Program Officer for GG Campus, Member of UBA, RUAS and Advisor for Rotaract Club of RUAS. He has played the role of Mentor for SWAYAM courses offered by the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) – a digital learning initiative by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He is an Administrator and a Mentor for Coursera Campus courses offered by RUAS in association with Coursera. He coordinates the service to society programs conducted by the university. He is on the editorial board of ​“Panpharmacon” a digital quarterly newsletter by the Department of Pharmacology for students and faculty members. He has also been the cultural coordinator for the annual cultural fest and intercollege fests organized by the university.

He completed his B. Pharm & Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) degree from the Government College of Pharmacy, Bangalore (2014 — 2016).
