Having joined the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2017, Mr. Damodar Nayak A is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, RUAS. For BPharm students, he conducts both theory and practical classes and in particular teaches them the theoretical aspects of Pathophysiology, Environmental Science, Computer Applications in Pharmacy, and Pharmacology. For PharmD students, he teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology. He is part of the research team for the Pharmacological modeling and simulation center. 

A dynamic and versatile member of the facility, he is engaged in a number of diverse activities. He is NSS Program Officer for GG Campus, He has played the role of Mentor for SWAYAM courses offered by the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) – a digital learning initiative by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He is an Administrator and a Mentor for Coursera Campus courses offered by RUAS in association with Coursera. He coordinates the service to society programs conducted by the university. He is on the editorial board of Kannada Sourabha,” a digital trimester magazine for students and faculty members. He is also a cultural coordinator for the annual cultural fest and intercollege fests organized by the university.

He completed his Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) degree from Government College of Pharmacy, Bangalore (2014 — 2016).
