Assistant Professor

Mr. Balappa B Ukamanal has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, RUAS since 2010. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Training Manager at M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies (now RUAS). He has delivered corporate training programs (CAD/ CAE domain) for various organisations including Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, the Indian Railways, Altair Engineering Pvt Ltd, Satyam, BEML, Schneider Electric, Haritha and KPIT-Cummins in Bangalore.
He completed his MSc (Engineering) in New Product Design at M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies in Bangalore which is affiliated to Coventry University in the UK. Prior to that he had studied for his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at BLDEA’s College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad.
