Dr. T K Vishnuvardhan

Assistant Professor

Dr T K Vishnuvardhan has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, RUAS since December 2017. An established researcher, administrator and teacher, he was the head of the Department of chemistry at Acharya institute of Technology, Bangalore (2009−2017). He designs curriculum for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes along with preparing lecture notes for various courses. He also supervises PhD scholars (under VTU) and postgraduate students. He was a member of the Board of Examiners and Board of Studies in Chemistry of REVA University, VTU. He has also published a book on Simple Studies in Engineering Chemistry for engineering students.
Dr Vishnuvardhan has done extensive studies on polymer composites; nanomaterials, oscillating chemical reactions and Inorganic metal complexes and has published over 30 national and international publications in various peer reviewed journals. He has made around 30 scientific work presentations at various national and international conferences, workshops, symposiums. He is an advisory board member for the Deccan Journal of Chemistry. He has delivered talks at various institutions. He is a life member of scientific and technology organisations and professional bodies namely, IAEng, Scientific and Technical Research Association from EuroAsia., ISTE, ECSI and ISQEMA. He obtained his MSc (Inorganic Chemistry) and PhD (Inorganic chemistry) from Gulbarga University.
