Dr. Sindhu Abraham works in the capacity of an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, with a teaching experience of more than 19 years. Her educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, Master of Pharmacy, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights. She has two patents and a DST-sponsored project to her credit, authored one book, and contributed chapters to three other textbooks. Dr. Sindhu has published more than 43 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a peer reviewer for the journals AAPS PharmaSciTech, Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation, Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science, and Pharmaceutical Development and Technology. She is actively involved in teaching and mentoring B. Pharm, Pharm. D, M. Pharm and Pharma MBA students and is actively involved in research activities pertaining to wound healing, chronotherapy and nano-formulations.
As an IQAC coordinator for the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Sindhu is actively involved in NAAC accreditation activities. She is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Association of Community Pharmacists of India, Karnataka State Pharmacy Council and a mentor in TUFH (Towards Unity For Health), an international organization that fosters equitable community-oriented health services, education and research, with the goal of improving health locally and globally.
