Pratishtha Bhattacharyya is Assistant Professor of Psychology in the School of Social Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. Prior to this, Pratishtha worked as Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour in Xavier School of Human Resource Management, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar where she taught courses in general psychology, soft skills and personality development, organizational behaviour, human resource management, and groups dynamics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Pratishtha has a Ph.D. in Positive Psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-K). For her Ph.D., she received IIT-K’s competitive scholarship. Before her doctorate, she completed M.Phil. in Child and Adolescent Psychology and M.A. in Counselling Psychology. Pratishtha’s current research focuses on aspects of positive psychology, developmental psychology, industrial psychology, organizational behaviour, and research methods in psychology. Her research work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals including Current Psychology, IIM-B Management Review, Human Resource International Digest, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, and The Qualitative Report.

Pratishtha also served as an Associate editor of Vilakshan- XIMB Journal of Management for two years (2019-2021).
