Dr. Nagaraja Rao Sulake

Assistant Professor and Associate Head

Dr. S. Nagaraja Rao has been in academics and research for about 15 years and is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, RUAS. He is avid teacher, researcher and author. He has done his Ph.D. under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, India in 2019. He has published more than 50 manuscripts in Web of Sciences/​Scopus indexed journals/​conferences and supervised two Ph.D. dissertations. His area of interest includes development of control techniques for various converter topologies interfaced with renewable energy sources. He has conducted training programs on​“Battery Technology” for General Motors and on​“Electrical Vehicle and Battery Technology” for TCS, Bangalore. In the 2020, he has awarded a Young Scientist Award for the Contribution and Honourable Achievement in Innovative Research from International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering SHEN Research Awards. In the 2022, he has awarded an Annual Exemplary Teacher Award for the year 2022 from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, India. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education. Currently serving as associate head in the department of electrical engineering, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, India.
