
Dr Lakshmi M Sundar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry under the Faculty of Pharmacy, RUAS. Having started her teaching journey more than 8 years ago, she is engrossed in teaching modules that cover Medicinal Biochemistry, Chemistry of Natural Products, Advanced Spectral Analysis, Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Engaged in research activities with a fellowship for the past 7 years, she focuses on topics like analytical and bio-analytical method development and validation, pattern profiling of herbal preparations and pharmacokinetics and metabolism studies of herbal drugs, phytochemicals and synthetic compounds.
She obtained her PhD in Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow (2006 – 2011).
