Dr. Aishwarya V. Patil joined as an Assistant Professor in 2023 in the Department of Food Technology, FLAH, RUAS. Previously worked as Senior Research Fellow in Department of Nutrition, St. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore. Awarded Ph.D. and master’s in Food Science and Nutrition from College of Community Science, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. The Master’s thesis focused upon Nutrient composition, cooking quality and acceptability of Horsegram (Macrotyloma uniflorum (Lam) Verdc.) varieties and doctoral research was on Development and quality evaluation of health mixes from partitioned Kodo Millet (Paspalum scrobiculatum). Dr. Aishwarya V. Patil have also qualified UGC NET (2018) and attended an International training programme at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York USA regarding International Agriculture and Rural Development Programme. She is a Gold medalist for master’s and doctoral degree and two awards from professional society.
