Vivekananda.S brings 8+ years and of dedicated teaching experience to both postgraduate and undergraduate programs. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Psychology. His academic background is robust, holding a First Class M.Sc. in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology from Bangalore University.
A highlight of his qualifications includes successfully clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship in Psychology, conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of the Government of India. He also qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) for Assistant Professorship in Psychology, conducted by the University of Mysore, University Grants Commission (UGC).
Vivekananda.S has held Assistant Professor positions at several esteemed institutions. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Jain Deemed-to-be University in the School of Sciences (SOS), PG dept. of Psychology, teaching the Masters Programme. Prior to that, he spent six years as a full-time Faculty at the Department of Psychology, Bangalore University. His work experience also includes part-time teaching at IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University and Karnataka college under UG and PG syllabus. He also served as a University Representative at Sikkim Manipal University, responsible for conducting online examinations and supervision.
He has a strong record of contributions to scholarly literature, with several publications in UGC-approved journals. He is an active participant and presenter at national and international conferences, showcasing his commitment to advancing psychological research. His expertise spans a wide range of subjects, including Lifespan Psychology, Research Methods, Psychopathology, and Statistical and Experimental Psychology.
Beyond his teaching and research, Vivekananda.S has demonstrated leadership in academic administration, serving as a NAAC criteria 4 coordinator , and a Board of Examiners (BOE) member for various universities. He was also recognized with the "Best Library User Award 2024" at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), acknowledging his engagement with academic resources. His commitment to the field is further exemplified by his former international membership with the American Psychological Association (APA)
