Dr V. V. Subba Rao Adhikari is an academician, researcher, and analytics professional with a multidisciplinary background in Human Resource Management (HRM), Industrial Relations (IR), Business Analytics, and Data Science. He holds a PhD and MPhil in HRM and IR from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, complemented by an MBA in HRM and Marketing and a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. His academic qualifications provide a strong interdisciplinary foundation that combines management, social sciences, statistics, and computational approaches. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Management Studies, Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Deemed to be University, and has also taught MBA (Data Science) and MBA (Business Analytics) students at KLEF Deemed to be University. His academic and research interests include HR Analytics, People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, Business Analytics, Research Methods, and Data Science. He possesses substantial expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research, including research design, survey methods, statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, and the generation of data-driven strategic insights. Dr. Adhikari has practical experience in applying advanced analytical techniques such as regression analysis, ANOVA, factor analysis, structural equation modelling, social network analysis, time-series analysis, clustering, decision trees, Naïve Bayes classification, sentiment analysis, and text mining. He is proficient in R, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, Advanced Excel, NVivo, Atlas.ti, and HRIS-related applications. His academic and professional work demonstrate a strong ability to integrate analytics with organisational and human resource challenges. His research and project experience includes employee performance analysis, job satisfaction, workforce productivity, organisational network analysis, MSME development, industrial relations, and AI-enabled HR decision-making. His professional experience in organisations such as TISS, TMI Group, Asian Paints, AkzoNobel India, and other organisations has also strengthened his expertise in recruitment, payroll, labour law compliance, HR operations, employee relations, manpower planning, and HR analytics. He has presented research at reputed academic forums, including conferences associated with the Indian Institutes of Management and the Indian Institutes of Technology. His recent scholarly work explores contemporary themes such as Emotion AI and ethical concerns, AI-assisted qualitative data analysis, the future of work, workforce productivity, and labour welfare. Dr. Adhikari’s profile reflects a strong combination of teaching, research, industry experience, and analytical capability.
