Dr. Ravikanth Nanduri is a biomedical scientist with over 15 years of research experience in epigenetics, molecular biology, and immunology. His research investigates the transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms underlying various disease physiologies, including cardiometabolic and infectious diseases, while integrating multi-omics and in-silico drug discovery approaches.
Before joining RUAS in 2025, Dr. Nanduri worked at the National Cancer Institute (NIH, USA) and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW, USA), where he studied chromatin dynamics, macrophage polarization, and viral pathogenesis. His long-term research goal is to identify molecular signatures that link viral infections to accelerated atherosclerosis and sudden cardiac events.
Dr. Nanduri has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals, including Nature Communications, Autophagy, Blood Advances, Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Cell and Molecular Life Sciences. His research has received more than 1,200 citations (Scopus H-index: 17; total impact factor: 167).
