Dr. Prabhu Tej J has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, RUAS since 2018. He offers over 6 years of academic and 5 years of research experience. Prior to joining RUAS, he worked as a Lecturer at SJBIT, Bangalore (2010 – 2011), as a Guest Faculty (2011 – 2012) and as a Research Scholar (2012 – 2017) at the Department of Physics, Bangalore University. He then joined as an Assistant Professor at the PG department of Physics in KLE’s S Nijalingappa College, Bangalore (2017 — 2018). He has a series of degrees to his name including a BSc (PCM) (2008), an MSc with a specialization in Spectroscopy (2010) and a PhD in Quantum information theory (2018) from Bangalore University. He received the UGC research fellowship that is awarded to meritorious students to promote quality research in Universities/​Departments (2012 – 2013). The focus areas of his research include quantum information theory, quantum foundations and quantum optics.
