Dr. Poornima D S is an Assistant Professor in Food Technology at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. She holds a PhD in Food and Agricultural Processing and has 4 years of experience in teaching and research. Her work focuses on vegan dairy alternatives, biodegradable packaging and functional foods.. She has guided multiple student projects, published widely, and holds two patents filed in food innovation. She received a grant from KSCST for developing plant-based spiced paneer and has won several national and international awards.
