Dr. Parasuraman Pavadai is a distinguished researcher and academician with extensive expertise in computational and experimental pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, Dr. Pavadai has built a remarkable career in drug discovery and development.

His research focuses on cutting-edge techniques such as computational drug design, QSAR modeling, pharmacophore modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, and molecular docking. With proficiency in tools like Schrödinger Suite, AutoDock, GROMACS, and Gaussian, he excels in structure-based and ligand-based approaches to drug design. His work also extends to organic synthesis, density functional theory (DFT), and theoretical analyses of chemical reactivity and molecular bonding interactions.

Dr. Pavadai has a strong inclination towards interdisciplinary research, evident from his contributions to synthetic medicinal chemistry, phytochemical isolation, and pharmacological screening of both natural and synthetic compounds. His research spans a variety of therapeutic areas, including cancer, Alzheimer's disease, infectious diseases, and inflammatory disorders. With over 100 publications in high-impact journals indexed in Scopus and SCI, Dr. Pavadai has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. He has also authored several book chapters and filed multiple patents related to novel drug delivery systems and therapeutic compounds.

In addition to his academic and research accomplishments, Dr. Pavadai is recognized as an effective mentor and educator. He has guided numerous B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. students in their research projects. His innovative teaching methods and dedication to student development have earned him accolades such as the "Annual Exemplary Faculty Award" and the "Best Researcher Award." 

With a proven record of blending computational tools with experimental methodologies, Dr. Pavadai continues to drive advancements in drug discovery, nanotechnology, and targeted therapeutics, contributing to the evolution of modern pharmaceutical sciences.
