Dr. Navajit Borah is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in Finance. He earned his Ph.D. from Assam University, supported by a prestigious ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship (Full-time). His academic journey also includes a Master's in Business Finance from Pondicherry University and a Bachelor's in Finance from Gauhati Commerce College, Gauhati University, Assam. His research interests encompass Behavioural Finance, Micro Finance, Consumer Behaviour, and International Trade. He has a robust publication record in Scopus-indexed journals, with recent contributions exploring topics such as the capital structure of automobile sector, risk perception of equity investors etc. His work consistently demonstrates a profound engagement with contemporary financial and socio-economic issues. Beyond his doctoral studies, he possesses practical experience, having served as a Research Assistant for an ICSSR-sponsored IMPRESS project and as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Dakshin Kamrup College, Assam. He is an active participant in the academic community, regularly presenting at national and international conferences and contributing chapters to various books. His commitment to continuous professional development is evident through his participation in workshops focused on research methodology and data analysis.
