Dr. Narayana B is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance at M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, bringing over nine years of combined experience in academia and the corporate sector. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Mysore, where his research focused on the use of commodity derivatives for agricultural price risk management.
Before entering academia, Dr. Narayana worked with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. as a Financial Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in auditing, financial controls, and risk management. His teaching and research interests include Financial Management, Investment Analysis, and Derivatives.
He has published several papers in ABDC, Scopus, and UGC Care–indexed journals and actively mentors’ students in research and career development. Known for blending theory with practical insights, Dr. Narayana is dedicated to fostering analytical thinking, innovation, and applied financial learning among future business leaders.
