Dr. Mutturaj M. Hosamani has obtained his Ph. D. in Physics with excellent number of publications from Karnatak University, Dharwad in the year 2019. He is specialized in nuclear and particle physics. After his M.Sc. degree, he joined as research fellow in the project entitled Measurement of ER spin distribution using 4π spin spectrometer and HYRA at IUAC, New Delhi. Then he registered for Ph.D. in Physics at Karnatak University, Dharwad on a research topic “Heavy ion nuclear reaction: Nuclear fusion-fission time scale measurement”.

Dr. Mutturaj has also set up many innovative laboratory experiments on Thermal neutron, Backscattered gamma and Beta particles, Neutron moderation and radiation interaction with matter. Published more than 70 publications in peer reviewed journals and presented in national and international conferences. He is having 6 years teaching experience at post graduation level and currently he is working as a Assistant Professor in Physics department at MSRUAS, Bengaluru.
