Dr. S. Nagaraja Rao has been in academics and research for about 17 years and is currently an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Electrical Engineering, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore. He has published more than 50 manuscripts in Web of Sciences/Scopus indexed journals/conferences. He has supervised five Ph.Ds and one M.S. By Research dissertations. His area of interest includes development of control techniques for various converter topologies interfaced with renewable energy sources and electric vehocles. In the 2020, he has awarded a Young Scientist Award from SHEN Research Awards. In the 2022, he has awarded an Annual Exemplary Teacher Award for the year 2022 from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, India. He has conducted training programs on “Battery Technology” for General Motors and on “Electrical Vehicle and Battery Technology” for TCS, Bangalore. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education.
