My expertise is applied mathematical modelling and analysis in the areas of Queueing Theory, Performance Analysis, Applied Probability and Stochastic Processes, Multi Sensor Data Fusion, Anomaly Detection, Connectomics of the Human Brain Networks, Machine Learning and Data Mining.

I have guided/co-guided 67 Masters Theses/Dissertations tacking problems in machine learning, data science, communication, sensing and embedded systems. Several innovative models, solution procedures and applications have been developed, some of them leading patent disclosures and publications.

From 2011 till date I have had the privilege of holding academic leadership positions involving inaugurating the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at RUAS as well as leading the architecting and implementation of new Under Graduate (Baccalaureate) and Masters programmes of study. I have also designed several new courses for these programmes which are based on the current research and state-of-the art.
