Dr. Darshan G P received M.Sc. (Physics) specialization in material science from Jain university, 2012. He finished my Ph.D. with a thesis entitled "Synthesis, structural characterization and luminescence studies of doped yttrium aluminate nanophosphors" from Bharathiar University, India. Dr. G.P. Darshan is a dedicated researcher with research interests focused on the development of eco-friendly, low cost and efficient materials for LEDs, sensitive fluorescent labelling of latent fingerprints, high potency counterfeiting applications, efficient thermoluminescent dosimetric applications, hydrogen production via water splitting, photocatalysis, nanopigments and photochromic materials. In collaboration with national and international laboratories succeeded publications in high-impact factor journals like Nature Scientific Reports, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Journal of Colloids and Interface Science, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chemical Engineering Journal, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, etc. To date, I have published around 95 articles in various reputed international journals and 22 articles in international and national conference proceedings. He is a reviewer of various international journals with high repute. Along with my research, he also worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bengaluru for 8 years. He also comfortable working in a team with other professors to develop highly collaborative and interdisciplinary research themes.
