Dr. Chetan Virupakshayya Hiremath is a Professor in Operations and Analytics with over 20 years of experience in academia, research, and industry. He earned his Ph.D. from Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, in 2018, and holds several postgraduate qualifications in management from reputed universities. He has also completed a MicroMasters in Supply Chain from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Manufacturing and Smart Factory from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Dr. Hiremath holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad.

Dr. Hiremath has published extensively in peer-reviewed indexed journals. His recent research covers areas such as blockchain applications in sustainable supply chain management, artificial intelligence in educational assessment, and digital transformation in business analytics. He has a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, often working at the intersection of technology, management, and analytics. He has presented his work at national and international conferences and actively participates in faculty development programmes and workshops.

He has taught and held leadership roles at institutions including Kirloskar Institute of Management, KLE Technological University, and ICFAI National College, teaching courses in operations management, supply chain, quantitative techniques, and analytics. Dr. Hiremath has mentored over 300 postgraduate and undergraduate students in research projects, internships, and career guidance.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Hiremath has undertaken consultancy and training projects for organisations such as Kirloskar Group, TATA Motors, and JSW Steel, focusing on market analysis, cloud technology, and employee development. He is committed to advancing management education through research, industry collaboration, interdisciplinary engagement, and student mentoring.
