Dr. Aishwarya V. Patil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, with expertise in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Processing, Human Nutrition, Community Nutrition, and Nutrition and Dietetics. She holds a Ph.D. and M.H.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, and has qualified UGC-NET. Her doctoral research focused on the development and quality evaluation of health mixes from partitioned kodo millet. She has research and teaching experience in advanced nutrition, human nutrition, community nutrition, food science, food product development, nutritional evaluation, functional foods, and millet-based foods, with several research publications and national and international conference presentations. She has received University Gold Medals for her M.H.Sc. and Ph.D., along with several awards including Best Research Scholar, Best Paper, Best Oral Presentation, Young Achiever Award, and Young Women Scientist Award. She has also contributed to student mentoring and research project guidance at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
