Dr. Sandeep Kumar joined as Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in 2023. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. Mathematics from Bangalore University. He started teaching career in 2010 in a reputed institute. He has 14 years’ experience and has served in UG and PG Departments both for graduate and Engineering Programs. He qualified Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Assistant Professors from Mysore University in 2014. He earned his doctoral degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in 2016. He has published over 15 research articles which are indexed in SCOPUS and Web of science Journals and also presented several research articles in national and international Conferences. He has attended more than 25 Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs. He has coordinated International conferences too. Two students were awarded doctorate under his guidance.

Dr. Sandeep Kumar was involved in academic bodies viz. BoS Member and BoE Member. Alongside he has played key roles in administrative responsibilities such as NAAC Committee, Curriculum Development, Departmental Academic Committee coordinator etc.

He was a member of faculty cricket team which won prestigious State level faculty cricket tournament in 2016 organized by VTU. Also he likes to play badminton, chess, exploring nature through photography and bird watching.
