Dr. Vinay Kumar Yadav is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Data Sciences and Analytics, School of Social Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, India. With a rich academic background and a strong foundation in statistical analysis, Dr. Yadav has made significant contributions to the field of data science and applied statistics.
Dr. Yadav's academic journey began with a M.Sc. in Statistics and Computing from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He further pursued his passion for statistics by earning a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh, India. His doctoral research focused on innovative estimation methods, handling missing data, robust regression, and neutrosophic statistics, which have practical applications in sample surveys and the analysis of sensitive variables.
With over 4 years of experience in academia, Dr. Yadav has held various positions that have honed his teaching and research skills. He served as an Assistant Professor at Brainware University in Kolkata, where he taught mathematics and supervised research in applied sciences. Prior to this, he was a Teaching Assistant at the National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh, where he supported teaching and research activities in applied sciences and statistics.
